Monday, June 18, 2018– Fly to Denver, Colorado
We will pick up our vehicle and then drive to Mt Rushmore National Monument for a short hike and post-flight and driving yoga. We then drive to Gillette, Wyoming to stay for the evening. Dinner locally. (note- this will be our longest driving day.)
Tuesday, June 19th– Early wake-up and breakfast. Drive to Devil’s Tower National Monument for Yoga and exploring. A possible side trip to Theodore Roosevelt National park. Drive to Caspar, Wyoming to stay for the evening. Dinner locally.
Wednesday, June 20th– Early wake-up and breakfast. Drive to Thermopolis, Wyoming to enjoy the State Bath House at Hot Springs State Park. Yoga and exploring. Lunch on the road. Drive to Headwaters Cabins at Flagg Ranch between Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Dinner locally. There are many local activities including horseback riding and bonfires on the property.
Thursday, June 21st- Not as early wake-up and breakfast. Drive to Grand Teton National Park for the day. Yoga/Hiking in the park. We will bring food for a picnic. Back to Headwaters Cabin’s for the evening. Dinner locally.
Friday, June 22nd- Early wake up, breakfast and check out. Drive to Yellowstone National Park, the world’s first national park. Yoga/Hiking/Old Faithful tour. We will bring food for a picnic. Drive to East Glacier Park. We will be staying in a large log home on the Glacier Park Lodge Golf Course. Exploring and dinner at the Lodge.
Saturday, June 23rd- Not as early wake-up and breakfast. Yoga/Hiking/Exploring Glacier National Park. The itinerary for today will depend on the weather. If we are lucky, Going-to-the-Sun Road will be open. And if we are very lucky, the northern lights will be visible. Regardless, it will be spectacular! We will bring food for a picnic. Dinner at the house.
Sunday, June 24th- Check out and leisurely drive from Glacier to Spokane, Wa. Fly out of Spokane Washington.
Notes- This trip will be limited to 4 travelers.
It will be active and the itinerary for each day may change due to weather, traffic and busy times at the parks.
All travelers will have their own bed at each place that we stay however, you may have to share a room and a bathroom.
I will have a cooler to pack snacks and drinks to enjoy when we are driving.
There will be a suggested packing list so that we travel light and breezy!
What this includes- All lodging, van/suv transportation, entrance into all parks, yoga.
