This Friday, May 27, 2016 10 AM; I will start teaching Yoga classes on paddle boards.
But what is SUP Yoga?
This class will consist of a yoga sequence on the water that emphasizes core and balance. Poses will start low on the board as the student gets used to the movement of the board and then work our way into standing poses.
We begin on shore at Callalisa Park with basic safety and paddling instructions as well as light warm ups before paddling south in Callalisa Creek to a beautiful and calm spot where we will practice yoga on the boards.
The experience of SUP yoga is so exciting and a refreshing change from being inside of a studio.

I have over 400 hours of yoga teacher training and am also certified in SUP instruction through the American Canoe Association in addition to First Aid and CPR training with the American Red Cross. I am also available for private instruction in basic paddling strokes and safety.
